The Indian Navy celebrated a noteworthy achievement with the Course Completion Divisions (Passing Out Parade) of 53 officer trainees from the 107th Integrated Officer Training Course held at the Naval Base in Kochi. The parade took place on April 11, 2026, and was presided over by Commodore Pramod G Thomas, Commodore (Training), Headquarters Southern Naval Command.

The officer trainees completed an intensive 39-week training programme that was executed across 14 different professional schools within the Indian Navy. The programme seamlessly blended theoretical instruction and practical training, making use of advanced simulators, emulators, and modern training models to enhance skill acquisition.

This thorough training regimen is crafted to arm the young officers with essential naval competencies, leadership abilities, and operational knowledge crucial for their upcoming responsibilities at sea.
