15 Sample SRT Situations With Responses For SSB Interview

Your boss is the man, throwing his weight about. One day while working in the office, he bitterly shouts at you for no fault of your own, in front of your male juniors. You will calmly listen without reacting emotionally, complete my task professionally, and later approach my boss privately to clarify the misunderstanding.

You were driving uphill after midnight in pitch black darkness when your car broke down. There is no mechanic around and your cellphone’s battery is dead. You park the car safely, turn on hazard lights, use a torch and reflective triangle for visibility, lock the car, and walk cautiously towards the last known inhabited area or wait for help if it is safer, while staying calm and alert.

You are already having a splitting headache and taking rest. While your neighbour is enjoying his party, turning the speaker towards your window creating a loud noise, which adds to your agony. You will go to the neighbour, politely request them to lower the volume and offer to help them enjoy their party in a less disturbing way. If ignored, I would seek help from society authorities.

It was the last day to pay for tuition fees and you desperately needed money to pay the same. Money did not arrive to you at time. You contact friends or seniors for a short-term loan, offer a written repayment timeline, and make the payment, also inform the institute of the situation to keep options open.

While enjoying a circus show, you see that 2 tigers come out from the cage and jump into the crowd. You will immediately alert the staff, guide people calmly towards exit paths, help children and elderly to safety, and use available tools like chairs or sticks to distract the tigers if needed till staff act.

Your hostel roommate daily comes late at night and starts hearing loud pop music while you are in deep study, which you feel disturbing and disgusting. You will respectfully tell her about my study needs and how the music disturbs me, suggest using earphones or playing music during breaks, maintain mutual respect and ensure a peaceful living environment.

Your supervisor was making derogatory remarks about women for quite some time but nobody raised an objection for fear of career loss. You tactfully confront him in private, expressing discomfort and citing workplace dignity. If it continues, report the issue through proper channels, support by facts and witnesses, upholding the values of equality and respect.
