1. Israel- Gaza conflict: The recent Israel and Gaza conflict have caught the attention of the world, and geopolitics is again changing rapidly in the region. The importance of Israel as a strong diplomatic partner to India makes this topic even more important.
2. Vaccine diplomacy: The Indian government in the early days of the second wave of COVID helped many countries with the vaccine supply, this move got a fair share of appreciation and criticism from all corners.

7. The ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan: Understanding the series of events that led to these ceasefire agreements and reinitiation of trade between the two countries.
8. Myanmar coup: Myanmar as a country is very important for India when it comes to geopolitics and India’s Look East policy, India is also investing in Sittwe port located in the Rakhine state which emphasises its importance. Recently the military coup done by the Junta of Myanmar has garnered international attention.
9. Armenia- Azerbaijan conflict and treaty: Armenia and Azerbaijan conflict was also known as the Nagorno-Karabakh war and it caused unrest in the countries, later on, a peace treaty has been signed.
10. Quad grouping: India, Australia, Japan and the USA have formed a quad grouping that also participated in the combined defence exercise.
11. US withdrawal from Afghanistan: Recently the USA decided to withdraw its troop from Afghanistan where it had launched military operations against the Taliban terror outfit. After the decision of the USA, Afghanistan has witnessed continuous violence along with the recent bombings.
12. Maoists and challenges to Internal security: The recent Maoist attack has caught everyone’s attention to the fact on whether we need to relook our policy of dealing with Maoists and understanding the deep root of the problem.
13. Social media as a threat to national security: This topic is to be prepared to keep in mind statements of various senior army and police officers where they have emphasised the role of social media in spreading fake news and even in the digital recruitment of terrorists.

17. Peace measures in J&K: Indian Army in J&K has been following the approach of ‘Iron Fist in a velvet glove’, knocking out terrorists each day and at the same time building trust among the awaam with citizen-centric measures and socialising activities.
18. Missile systems: there has been a large scale procurement of missile system by the Indian defence forces, understanding each of the missile systems is necessary.
19. One Belt One Road (OBOR) Policy and India’s Counter: China with its ambitious plan to revive the ancient silk route always tries to push its OBOR policy which is countered by India due to its security implications.
