Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Command, carried out the annual inspection of the Headquarters Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Goa (MG&G) Area in Mumbai recently. This visit was part of ongoing efforts to evaluate the operational and logistical readiness of the formation, as well as to reaffirm the Indian Army’s unwavering commitment to upholding exceptional security standards amid the dynamic challenges facing the region.
During the inspection, Lt. Gen. Seth received comprehensive briefings regarding a range of operational aspects. These included current security measures, collaborative training initiatives with both domestic military branches and international forces, as well as innovative practices that enhance the Army’s efficacy.
