Lieutenant General P K Mishra, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, recently undertook a visit to forward positions in the Poonch Sector, accompanied by the GOC of the Ace of Spades Division. The primary aim of this visit was to review the current security situation and assess the operational preparedness of troops stationed along the Line of Control (LoC).
During the visit, Lt Gen Mishra received comprehensive briefings regarding the operational landscape, counter-infiltration strategies, and the deployment of forces along critical areas of the LoC. This interaction provided him with insights into the challenges faced by soldiers serving in difficult terrains and harsh weather conditions. He took the opportunity to engage directly with the troops, recognizing their professionalism, vigilance, and commitment to their duties.
