Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Northern Command, conducted a crucial visit to the Rampur Sector in Jammu to assess the current security landscape and the effectiveness of the counter-terrorism framework in the region.
During his visit, Lt Gen Sharma engaged in extensive discussions with representatives from various security entities, including the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and additional security agencies. The primary focus of these discussions was on enhancing coordination and ensuring operational efficiency among the different security forces deployed in the area.
Emphasizing the need for collaborative efforts, Lt Gen Sharma stressed the significance of focused and coordinated actions among agencies. He pointed out that an integrated approach is essential for achieving a terror-free Jammu and Kashmir. The General Officer highlighted that seamless collaborations among multiple security forces are vital for conducting intelligence-driven operations and enabling rapid responses to any emerging threats.
