Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katiyar, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Command, conducted a visit to the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Republic Day Camp, where he was warmly welcomed by the Directorate General NCC.

During his visit, Lt Gen Katiyar was treated to a captivating band display performed by the cadets of Sainik School Ghorakhal. The performance, noted for its precision and coordination, showcased the cadets’ musical talents and earned enthusiastic applause from the audience.

The General also toured the Flag Area, which was meticulously arranged to reflect a variety of social awareness themes. This exhibition highlighted the NCC’s steadfast commitment to nation-building, civic responsibility, and upholding constitutional values, emphasizing the role of cadets as proactive citizens.

Further into his visit, Lt Gen Katiyar stopped by the Hall of Fame, a significant establishment that pays homage to the rich heritage and outstanding achievements of the National Cadet Corps. The Hall serves as a symbolic space that encourages pride and inspiration among current and future cadets.
