Lt Gen Rajesh Pushkar, the General Officer Commanding of the elite Kharga Corps, recently conducted an extensive review of the operational preparedness and combat readiness of the Pine Division units. This initiative was designed to evaluate the current state of operational efficiency, technological integration, and overall mission preparedness of the field formations stationed in the region.
During his visit, Lt Gen Pushkar was updated on the latest tactical and strategic advancements, which included the implementation of advanced surveillance systems and the integration of cutting-edge communication technologies. He also focused on the enhancement of battlefield awareness mechanisms. The GOC praised the troops for their innovative approaches in leveraging modern technology to improve Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs). This technological adaptation has facilitated faster decision-making processes and enhanced response capabilities in complex operational situations.
Lt Gen Pushkar emphasized the importance of high standards in training, discipline, and motivation throughout all ranks within the Division. He underscored that the real strength of the Indian Army resides in the determination and adaptability of its soldiers. He specifically acknowledged the Division’s sustained efforts in achieving and maintaining a high state of readiness, particularly its ability to operate effectively across a variety of terrains and operational environments.
In addition to observing the units, Lt Gen Pushkar interacted directly with field commanders and troops, encouraging them to prioritize joint operations, technological adaptability, and both physical and mental resilience. He pointed out the critical need for ongoing innovation, realistic training, and fostering a spirit of camaraderie to effectively address the evolving security challenges facing India’s borders.
Reaffirming the Kharga Corps’ commitment to national defense, he expressed confidence that the Pine Division is well-equipped to undertake any operational task with precision and professionalism.
