Maj Gen IS Gill, Chief of Staff of the Uttar Bharat Area, recently conducted a comprehensive review of operational readiness and forward area development in the Kumaon Sector. His assessment encompassed pivotal locations such as Dharchula, Gunji, Navidang, and Jollingkong, all of which play crucial roles in the region’s security framework.

During his visit, Maj Gen Gill meticulously evaluated the operational preparedness of troops, the progress of infrastructure development, and the logistical arrangements necessary for sustaining operations in the high-altitude forward areas along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
