The Gandiv Division, which is part of the Chetak Corps, has a well-established reputation for emphasizing readiness. In 2023, the division showcased the Indian Army at the esteemed Cambrian Patrol, an international military exercise often referred to as the “Olympics of military patrolling.” Organized by the 160th (Welsh) Brigade, this event evaluates teams on various parameters, including navigation, leadership, and endurance, and the Gandiv Division’s participation is a testament to their commitment to maintaining high mission-ready standards.
