In a significant move to enhance military coordination and operational understanding, officers from the Naval Higher Command Course of the Naval War College recently visited the Trishakti Corps as part of the Forward Area Orientation Tour. This initiative aimed to deepen the officers’ insights into the operational dynamics and inter-service collaborations specific to the eastern theatre of India.
The delegation’s itinerary kicked off with a detailed briefing at the Corps Headquarters located in Sukna. Here, officers were informed about several critical aspects, including operational preparedness, the challenges posed by the terrain, and the vital integration of tri-service efforts. The visit also included an exploration of forward areas in Sikkim, where the officers received firsthand knowledge about the unique operational environment.
