NCC Special Entry Scheme 56 Course (October 2024): Short Service Commission for Men & Women (Including Wards of Battle Casualties Army Personnel)
The shortlisting of applications for the SSB interview under the NCC Special Entry Scheme 56 Course is now based on a minimum requirement of 60% and above in graduation marks.
The Indian Army Website will provide the respective SSB Center on its own. Stay tuned for more updates and keep following SSBCrackExams for further updates.
NCC 56 SSB Dates
The NCC SSB Interview Dates will be published on the Indian Army’s official website. According to current patterns, the SSB dates will begin around June- July 2024. Furthermore, candidates will be able to choose the dates that work best for them, but they will not be able to choose the location. The corresponding SSB Centre will be provided by the Indian Army Website on its own.

NCC 56 SSB Interview Instructions
- Only shortlisted eligible candidates will undergo SSB at Selection Centres, Allahabad(UP), Bhopal(MP), Bangalore (Karnataka), and Jalandhar (PB). Call-up letters for SSB interviews will be issued by the respective Selection Centre on candidates’ registered e-mail id and SMS only. Allotment of the Selection Centre is at the discretion of the Directorate General of Recruiting, IHQ of MoD (Army) and No request for changes will be entertained in this regard.
- Candidates will be put through two stage selection procedure. Those who clear Stage I will go to Stage II. Those who fail in stage I will be returned on the same day. The duration of the SSB interview is five days and details of the same are available on the official website of the Directorate General of Recruiting ie www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. This will be followed by a medical examination for the candidates who get recommended after Stage II.
- Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit will be issued joining letters for training in the order of merit, depending on the number of vacancies available, subject to meeting all eligibility criteria.
