Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) of the Corps of Signals have successfully graduated with a Diploma in Information Technology and Telecommunications from the Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE) in Mhow. The ceremony, which took place on December 13, 2025, celebrated the achievements of these military personnel and underscored the institution’s commitment to advancing technical education within the armed forces.

The graduating class comprised not only NCOs from the Corps of Signals but also included four trainees from the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and one trainee from Nepal. This diverse representation reflects MCTE’s role in promoting inter-services and international cooperation in military technical training, fostering camaraderie and shared learning among different security forces.

Throughout the course, participants received advanced instruction in cutting-edge communication systems, information technology, and emerging fields essential for modern military operations. This hands-on training ensured that the trainees were well-equipped with both theoretical and practical knowledge, preparing them to effectively handle contemporary battlefield communications.

As these NCOs step forward, they bring with them specialised skills tailored to meet the dynamic challenges presented in military environments. Their training positions them to support the rapid integration and absorption of the latest technologies essential for the Indian Army’s operational effectiveness.

The completion of this course underscores MCTE Mhow’s critical role in cultivating a technically proficient workforce capable of sustaining a technology-driven military force.
