It is very important to carry all necessary documents and items for SSB interview. One must read the call letter carefully and follow the instructions mentioned in it, all the important documents which are required at the time of SSB Interview are mentioned in the call letters generally.But, the real problem comes when you are a fresher and did not receive your call letter on time, so its hard to know the required things for SSB Interview. Documents Required for SSB Interview:

• SSB Interview Call Letter
• 10th/12th Original and Photocopy(2 each) Mark sheet & Certificate
• Original and Photocopy(2 each)Graduation/Post Graduation Degree Certification
• Certificate from principal if in final year.
• NCC Certificate (Original & Photocopy) (For NCC Special Entry)
• Valid Commercial Pilots License, issued by DCGA (If applicable)
• Original Ticket (If eligible for Travelling Allowance)
• Identity Proof (Voter ID/Passport/DL/PAN Card) (Original and 2 Photocopies)
• NOC Certificate (for those who are currently working in Govt. Org or PSUs)
• Risk certificate duly signed by parent/guardian. ( for minors)
• 20 Passport Size Colour Photographs (with light coloured clothes and against white background)

Photographs required for SSB Interview

For SSB Interview appearing candidate, he/she has to carry 20 Passport Size Colour Photographs (with light coloured clothes and against white background) with negative (if possible). The passport size photo must have following features:

• Size of the photo should be 3.5×3.5 cm or 3.5×4.5 cm. (See sample for size)

• Printed on thin, photo-quality paper.
• Taken within the past 6 months, showing current appearance.
• Full face, front view with a plain white or off-white background.

• Taken in normal street attire: Uniforms should not be worn in photographs except religious attire that is worn daily.
• Do not wear a hat or headgear that obscures the hair or hair line.
• If you normally wear prescription glasses, a hearing device, wig or similar articles, they should be worn for your picture.
• Dark glasses or nonprescription glasses with tinted lenses are not acceptable unless you need them for medical reasons (a medical certificate may be required).
• Articles worn for religious or medical reasons should be accompanied by a statement to that effect.

Dress Code for SSB Interview:

For GTO:
Men: Must wear white t-shirt and shorts with sports shoe, in winters one can also wear track suit.
Women: Must wear Track suit during GTO with sports shoe.

For Personal Interview:
Men: Can wear formal shirt, pant and shoe, blazer and tie are optional.
Women:  Can wear formal shirt, pant and shoe or saree, blazer and tie are optinal.
