Shivneri Brigade Conducts Counter Terrorism Capsule for CISF Personnel in Pune 1

In a pivotal development aimed at enhancing military-civil cooperation, the Shivneri Brigade, operating under the Golden Katar Division, has successfully completed a two-week Counter-Terrorism Capsule training program for 100 personnel from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). Conducted at the Foreign Training and Military Civil Fusion Training Node in Pune from September 8 to 20, 2025, the training was comprehensive and multifaceted.

The program encompassed various operational modules designed to bolster the capabilities of CISF personnel. Key areas of focus included the Army Martial Arts Training Routine (AMAR), weapon handling, Quick Reaction Team (QRT) drills, room intervention techniques, survival training, and an essential orientation on the functioning of the Indian Army. The primary objective was to equip participants with core combat skills, enhance their responsiveness to various situations, and foster operational synergy between military and civil forces.

This initiative is a significant component of the Military-Civil Fusion training program, which emphasizes a collective goal of establishing a more integrated and resilient administrative framework. By improving joint preparedness, the program aims to strengthen internal security mechanisms and enhance coordination in disaster response efforts, thereby contributing to broader nation-building initiatives.

Officials highlighted that joint training sessions like these not only refine tactical skills but also fortify the spirit of collaboration and mutual trust between the armed forces and central police organizations. Such cooperative efforts are seen as essential in adapting to evolving security challenges and ensuring a united front in maintaining national security.
