Stream Engine has officially entered into a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) aimed at integrating artificial intelligence (AI) solutions into the workflows of the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). This three-year initiative, which will take place in collaboration with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), intends to enhance AI models and analyze their potential applications, focusing particularly on tactical and intelligence operations.
The California-based company’s leading solution is designed for real-time behavioral pattern recognition and threat analysis by utilizing large, unstructured data sets to produce actionable insights. Originally developed for commercial use to analyze branding across various media formats, this technology has piqued the interest of military and cybersecurity entities due to its promising capabilities.
According to Stream Engine, the AI software is adept at identifying and flagging emerging threats through various content forms. CEO Brian Kim emphasized the significance of this partnership, stating that it represents a crucial advancement in providing the DoD with a state-of-the-art real-time intelligence platform.
