Surgeon Vice Admiral Arti Sarin, the Director General of Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS), visited the 12 Air Force Hospital in Gorakhpur to inaugurate a Cataract Surgical Camp, showcasing the commitment of Armed Forces Medical Services to provide accessible and high-quality healthcare.
During her visit, Admiral Sarin presented the esteemed DGAFMS Commendation Card to the hospital. This award is a recognition of the hospital’s dedication to patient-centric initiatives, adherence to quality clinical practices, and successful collaboration within the institution. The commendation highlights the hospital’s continued efforts to deliver exceptional medical care to its beneficiaries.
Accompanying Admiral Sarin were Air Marshal Sandeep Thareja, the DGMS (Air) and Air Officer Commanding for the 17 Wing Air Force, as well as Air Commodore Yogesh Isaar. Throughout the visit, the DGAFMS engaged with the medical staff, assessed hospital facilities, and expressed appreciation for the teamโs professionalism and dedication in providing compassionate, efficient healthcare services.
