15-Day Master Study Plan For English Paper In NDA Exam 2020

To crack NDA exam a candidate has to study for three papers, namely Mathematics, English and General Knowledge & General Science. While it’s a time-consuming process for him to study Mathematics and GK & GS, English can be a Saviour in this matter. Studying English needs lesser time and full understanding of basic as well as advanced concepts of English Grammar & Vocabulary. Studying smartly and sticking to a concrete study plan will lead you to the final goal. Below is a 15-day plan for studying English for the NDA exam you can follow to sail smoothly through your exam preparation.

To follow this above-mentioned chart religiously, you need to devote at least 2 to 3 hours daily to complete studying the thorough and in-depth concepts of English Grammar and Vocabulary. Remember, this 15 Day study plan doesn’t include the practice or revision of the concepts and important question patterns. Once you are done and clear about the important concepts, strategies and tips of the topics, start practising the questions from each topic daily. A regular practice of sample questions and previous years’ papers is a must thing to do. Here are some tips you can follow while you are practising questions from English for your NDA Exam preparation:

  • Practice every day 20 to 30 questions from English grammar. Gradually, increase the number to at least 50 per day including Grammar and Vocabulary.
  • Read and revise the antonyms, synonyms and idioms & phrases regularly, at least for 2 hours per day.
  • Utilize your free time reading good English books, newspapers, magazines or watching English news channels and podcasts. Make it a regular habit.
  • Make a plan of learning at least 10 to 20 new words along with their antonyms and synonyms everyday.
  • Start maintaining a diary and write your everyday encounters or makeup stories using the new words you have learned.
  • Practice questions keeping a stopwatch or clock by your side. Learn managing time. Do not spend more than 1 minute for each question.
  • Time to time, brush up your knowledge of important concepts and grammatical rules, to understand and apply them better while you practise.
