- World Autism Awareness Day Is An Internationally Recognized Day On April 2 Every Year, Encouraging The Member States Of The United Nations To Take Measures To Raise Awareness About People With Autism Spectrum Disorder Throughout The World.
- It Was Designated By The United Nations General Assembly Resolution. World Autism Awareness Day”, Passed In Council On 1 November 2007, And Adopted On 18 December 2007.

- Autism, Also Called Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Is A Complicated Condition That Includes Problems With Communication And Behavior. It Can Involve A Wide Range Of Symptoms And Skills. ASD Can Be A Minor Problem Or A Disability That Needs Full-time Care In A Special Facility.
World Energy Transitions Outlook 2022
- International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) launched the World Energy Transitions Outlook 2022 at the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue.
- The Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue (BETD) has become a leading international forum for key stakeholders of the energy sector.
- Energy transition refers to the global energy sector’s shift from fossil-based systems of energy production and consumption — including oil, natural gas, and coal — to renewable energy sources like wind and solar, as well as lithium-ion batteries.
- The Outlook sets out priority areas and actions based on available technologies that must be realized by 2030 to achieve net-zero emissions by mid-century.
- It also takes stock of progress across all energy uses to date, which shows that the current pace and scale of the renewables-based transition is inadequate.
- It provides an in-depth analysis of two areas particularly relevant for the decarbonization of end-use sectors: electrification and bioenergy.
- It also explores the socio-economic impacts of the 1.5°C pathway (under the Paris Agreement) and suggests ways to speed progress toward universal access to clean energy (renewable energy).
AFSPA Eased In Northeast
- Union Government Has Partially Withdrawn The Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA), 1958 From Parts Of Three Northeast States- Assam, Nagaland, And Manipur. Currently, AFSPA Remains In Force In Parts Of These Three States As Well As In Parts Of Arunachal Pradesh And Jammu & Kashmir.

- Ministry Of Information And Broadcasting Announced The Merger Of 4 Film Media Units, Including The Films Division, Directorate Of Film Festivals, National Film Archive Of India, And Children’s Film Society Of India With The National Film Development Corporation.
- The Decision Is In Line With The Bimal Julka-led Expert Committee’s (2020) Report On The Rationalization, Closure, And Merger Of Film Media Units.
- The National Film Development Corporation of India based in Mumbai is the central agency established in 1975, to encourage high quality Indian cinema. It functions in areas of film financing, production, and distribution and under Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.

- Shivakumara Swami (1 April 1907 – 21 January 2019) Was An Indian Humanitarian, Spiritual Leader, And Educator.
- He Was A Veerashaiva Lingayat Religious Figure, He Joined The Siddaganga Matha In 1930 Karnataka And Became Head Seer In 1941.
- He Also Founded The Sri Siddaganga Education Society. Described As The Most Esteemed Adherent Of Lingayatism(Veera Shaivism), He Was Referred To As Nadedaaduva Devaru (Walking God) In The State.
- In 2015, He Was Awarded By The Government Of India Padma Bhushan, India’s Third-highest Civilian Award.
National Weightlifting Championships
- Ann Mariya M.T. from Kerala won the women’s 87-kilogram gold medal with a National record aggregate of 231 kg on the concluding day of the National weightlifting championships at the KIIT University campus in Bhubaneswar.
- Ann Mariya lifted one kilogram less than Commonwealth Games gold medalist Purnima Pandey’s new snatch record of 104 kg and she tied with eventual third-place finisher Manpreet Kaur’s record-breaking clean and jerk effort of 128 kg. However, the Kerala woman totaled two kilograms more than Purnima to emerge champion.
