A significant milestone was achieved at The Infantry School in Mhow, where 213 Infantry Officers, including representatives from ten Friendly Foreign Countries (FFC), completed the prestigious Young Officers (YO) Course. This extensive and challenging training program is meticulously structured to bolster the combat capabilities of emerging military leaders, with a particular emphasis on Platoon and Company Weapons as well as Tactics. The course aims to equip these young officers with vital skills needed for effective leadership in diverse operational situations.

The ceremony marking the completion of the course was an opportunity to recognize outstanding performers among the participants. Lieutenant Ripunjay Naithani distinguished himself by being named the Overall Best Student, acknowledging his exceptional performance throughout the rigorous training regimen.

In addition to the achievements of Indian officers, the course also spotlighted the proficiency of international participants. Lieutenant Kesanga Dolkar from Bhutan received the award for Best in Support Weapons, while Captain JKKG Jayasinghe from Sri Lanka was honored as Best in Platoon Weapon. Furthermore, Lieutenant Chimi Renzin, also from Bhutan, claimed the title of Best in Tactics.

These accolades were presented in a formal ceremony attended by Lieutenant General Gajendra Joshi, Commandant of The Infantry School, who took the opportunity to commend the officers for their dedication and hard work during the course.
