Sqn Ldr Singh’s foundation for an illustrious career in the armed forces was laid at Sainik School, Chittorgarh, a cradle of excellence that has produced numerous officers for the Indian Armed Forces. This year, the Indian Air Force contingent will comprise four officers and 144 personnel. Squadron Leader Mahender Singh Garati will lead the contingent, with the support of the following supernumerary officers:
