DZYNE Technologies Launches Wearable Counter-Drone System at UAE Defense Convention

DZYNE Technologies has introduced an innovative wearable counter-small unmanned aerial system (c-sUAS) kit during a recent international defense convention held in the United Arab Emirates. The company’s latest offering, the Dronebuster Detect, Track, Identify, Mitigate (DTIM) package, is designed as a portable electronic attack solution aimed at safeguarding warfighters and enhancing situational awareness against adversarial drones.

Weighing in at under 4 kilograms (8.8 pounds), the Dronebuster DTIM Kit combines an advanced jamming gun with a compact backpack that includes an integrated LCD tactical assault display, an antenna, and external connections for various mission devices, such as headsets. This lightweight and streamlined design sets it apart from other bulkier c-sUAS systems available on the market.

DZYNE Technologies emphasizes that the DTIM Kit provides exceptional performance and reliability across a wide range of mission scenarios, addressing the evolving global demand for c-sUAS solutions. These scenarios include facility and convoy protection, VIP and personnel security, and the safeguarding of critical infrastructure. The system’s capability to enhance situational awareness is touted as key to enabling rapid and informed tactical decisions in dynamic operational environments.

The Dronebuster DTIM Kit boasts the capability to effectively target hostile drones from a distance of 7 kilometers (approximately 4.3 miles) away. Its omnidirectional signal capability ensures accurate scanning of potential drone threats, even while the user is on the move. Additionally, the technology is equipped with a drone library that receives periodic updates, giving users insights into both existing and emerging threats in the field.

DZYNE Technologies’ CEO, Matthew McCue, highlighted the transformative nature of the Dronebuster DTIM Kit in the realm of c-sUAS technology. He expressed that it represents more than just a detection system; rather, it is a comprehensive solution that empowers operators to neutralize threats in real-time. As drones increasingly become a concern on the battlefield, this system is positioned to enhance battlefield superiority and respond effectively to the challenges posed by modern aerial threats.
