The ceremony took place at the Cadets Training Wing (CTW), recognizing the cadets’ achievements in both technical and military training after an intensive period of preparation.
Under the watchful eye of military decorum, Lt. Gen. Neeraj Varshney, the Commandant of MCEME and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of EME, honored outstanding cadets who excelled in academics, sports, and rigorous military training. Among the notable accolades, Wing Cadet Captain Gem Phub from Bhutan received the prestigious GOC-in-C ARTRAC Gold Medal for his remarkable performance. The Shivaji Platoon also garnered recognition, being awarded the GOC-in-C ARTRAC Banner for their exemplary achievements during the Spring Term 2025.

The event showcased the Indian Army’s commitment to military diplomacy. The presence of international cadets, including those from Bhutan, was marked by a display of national flags, symbolizing the diverse backgrounds of the participants. Following the formal proceedings, Lt. Gen. Varshney took the time to engage with the parents of the cadets, who are on the brink of commissioning as officers in the Indian Army, marking a pivotal milestone in their military careers.
