A statement from the BSF Jammu Public Relations Officer confirmed that the shooting began without provocation, compelling a robust response from Indian forces. During the exchange of fire, the BSF successfully dismantled Pakistani Ranger positions and neutralized a suspected terror launch pad located directly opposite the Akhnoor region. The BSF reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to national security, stating, “Our resolve to protect India’s sovereignty is unshaken.”
