Upon reaching AFMC Pune, she underwent comprehensive academic and military training that included physical drills, classes in anatomy, biology, and nursing. Learning vital skills such as battlefield first-aid and ward management, Himani demonstrated leadership capabilities, often organizing study groups and leading physical training sessions.
