The Combat Leadership Course (CLC) Serial 68, held at the NCO Academy in Dhana, has successfully concluded, marking a significant step in the Indian Army’s ongoing initiative to cultivate agile and tech-savvy leadership at the Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) level. This culmination took place on December 20, 2025, reflecting the Army’s dedication to adapting to modern warfare dynamics.

The course, designed specifically for Non-Commissioned Officers, involved a rigorous training regimen that included a specialized curriculum. Participants were provided with contemporary operational insights and the leadership skills necessary to navigate a technology-driven battle environment. Emphasizing modern combat leadership, the training focused on critical aspects such as decision-making and adaptability in the face of rapidly changing warfare scenarios.

Lieutenant General Arvind Chauhan, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Sudarshan Chakra Corps, addressed attendees during the closing ceremony. In his speech, titled “Combat Leadership in a Tech-Driven World,” he underscored the pivotal role that empowered NCOs play as frontline leaders. He stressed the importance of integrating technological advancements with leadership principles, highlighting the need to prepare for evolving security challenges.

Among the attendees, Havildar Abhishek Dwivedi from the 9 GUARDS was recognized as the Best Student, showcasing his exemplary performance and leadership capabilities throughout the course. This accolade serves as a testament to the high standards of excellence fostered within the program.
