In a formal handover ceremony, Major General D K Singh has taken over command of the Bengal Sub Area from Major General Rajesh A Moghe, signifying a notable leadership transition within the Indian Army’s Eastern theatre.
Maj Gen D K Singh arrives at his new post with extensive operational and administrative expertise accrued over a distinguished career in the Army. His appointment is expected to bring a fresh perspective and strategic insight to the Bengal Sub Area.
Maj Gen Rajesh A Moghe, who has completed 37 years of dedicated service to the nation, was recognized for his significant contributions throughout his military career. He held various command and staff positions and earned deep respect for his professionalism, leadership, and unwavering commitment to duty.
During the ceremony, Lt Gen R C Tiwari, head of the Eastern Command, praised Maj Gen Moghe for his exemplary service and expressed his best wishes to Maj Gen D K Singh.
