The Inter Platoon Gladiator Competition for Spring Term 2026 took place at the Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME) in Secunderabad, bringing together Officer Cadets to showcase their endurance, combat skills, and mental toughness through rigorous challenges.
The event included four main activities that tested the cadets’ overall capabilities. Participants engaged in a demanding 19 km endurance run, firing drills designed to hone their marksmanship, swimming events that assessed their aquatic skills, and a battle obstacle course that pushed their physical limits and teamwork abilities. Together, these activities sought to evaluate the cadets’ grit, stamina, and mental robustness in high-pressure situations.
In a display of exceptional performance, the Prithviraj Platoon emerged as the overall winners of the competition. This achievement underscores their dedication and hard work throughout the event. Additionally, WCQM Shivam Yadav received the prestigious title of ‘Gladiator of the Course’, distinguishing himself among his peers for his outstanding performance.
As part of the event’s highlight, the Inter Platoon Novices Cross-Country attracted enthusiastic participation from TES-54 cadets.
