On the occasion of the 82nd Raising Day of the Artificial Limb Centre (ALC) in Pune, a significant step towards enhancing the care for differently abled individuals was marked by the inauguration of the “Saksham” Holistic Mobility Clinic. Surgeon Vice Admiral Arti Sarin, the Director General of the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS), officially dedicated the clinic to the beneficiaries of the centre during a ceremony that drew considerable attention from senior medical officials.
Among the dignitaries present were Surgeon Vice Admiral Anupam Kapur, the Director General of Health Services for the Armed Forces, Lt. General Pankaj P Rao, the Director and Commandant of the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), and Surgeon Rear Admiral Rajat Shukla, the Additional Director General for Medical Regulations, Health, and Training in the Office of the DGAFMS.
