California-based Skyryse has announced a strategic alliance with Robinson Helicopter Company to create a Group 4 rotary-wing unmanned aerial system (UAS) tailored for military operations. This collaboration aims to innovate and enhance battlefield capabilities using advanced drone technology.
According to the Pentagon’s classification standards, Group 4 drones are defined by a weight exceeding 1,320 pounds (599 kilograms) and operational altitudes of up to 18,000 feet (5,486 meters).
