Lieutenant General IS Rathore met His Excellency Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla, Hon’ble Governor of Telangana, at Lok Bhavan, Hyderabad, on November 7, 2026, after taking over as the 43rd Commandant of the Military College of Electronics & Mechanical Engineering (MCEME), Secunderabad.
The call on followed Lieutenant General Rathore’s assumption of command at MCEME and marked a formal interaction with the Governor.
Based in Secunderabad, MCEME is a premier Army institution associated with the Indian Army’s electronics and mechanical engineering capabilities. The meeting was among the Commandant’s engagements following his assumption of the appointment and brought the Army establishment in Secunderabad into contact with the constitutional office of the Governor of Telangana.
