In a significant official visit aimed at enhancing excellence in training and leadership development, the Additional Director General (ADG) of the NCC Directorate in Uttar Pradesh visited the 7 UP Naval Unit NCC and the NCC Group Headquarters in Varanasi. The visit provided an opportunity to review ongoing training activities and engage with cadets.
Upon his arrival, the ADG was welcomed with a ceremonial Samman Guard, executed by the unit’s Naval Wing cadets. This gesture underscored the discipline, professionalism, and organizational standards upheld by the unit.
During the visit, the ADG conducted a motivational interaction with the cadets, emphasizing key values such as discipline, leadership, and character development, alongside the importance of national service. He elaborated on the various career pathways within the Indian Navy, encouraging cadets to strive for excellence in their pursuits.
A notable aspect of the visit was the conduct of interactions and interviews aimed at selecting cadets for the prestigious All India Nau Sena Camp (AINSC) 2026, recognized as one of the premier national-level training camps organized by the NCC.
