AFCAT is a national level exam conducted by the Indian Air Force (IAF) to recruit candidates for Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches. The exam is conducted twice a year, usually in February and August. The AFCAT 1 2023 exam is scheduled to be conducted on 25 February 2023 in two shifts, Shift 1 and Shift 2.

The exam pattern for AFCAT consists of four sections – General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test. Each section contains 25 questions and carries three marks each. There is a negative marking of one mark for every wrong answer. The total duration of the exam is two hours.
