Air Marshal B Manikantan, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Air Command, recently conducted an important visit to Air Force Station Bakshi Ka Talab in Lucknow, where he was greeted with a ceremonial Guard of Honour upon his arrival. This visit served as a critical opportunity for the Air Marshal to closely monitor the station’s operational readiness and to evaluate ongoing initiatives vital for maintaining high preparedness levels.
As part of his engagement at the station, Air Marshal B Manikantan undertook a sortie in the Kiran Mk II aircraft. This experience allowed him to gain firsthand knowledge of the flying operations and training standards being implemented at Bakshi Ka Talab, further enhancing his understanding of the station’s capabilities.
During interactions with officers, air warriors, and trainees, he commended all ranks for their exemplary morale, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to their duties.
