The ARTRAC Investiture Ceremony for the training year 2025–26 took place at Headquarters ARTRAC, Shimla, on March 24, 2026. The event celebrated the excellence achieved across various Army training establishments, highlighting the commitment to high standards within the Indian Army.
Presided over by Lieutenant General Devendra Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of ARTRAC, the ceremony was marked by military precision and an atmosphere of dignity and grace. During the proceedings, several prestigious awards were conferred in recognition of outstanding performance and exceptional contributions.
Among the notable recognitions were Unit Citations awarded for exceptional performance within units and Recognition Awards for Financial Excellence, which rewarded achievements in financial management across establishments. Additionally, the Digitisation & Automation Excellence Awards acknowledged innovations that have enhanced operational efficiency and modernized training processes. On-the-spot Commendation Cards were also presented, allowing for immediate recognition of individual contributions to training and operational readiness.
In his address, Lt Gen Devendra Sharma emphasized the importance of ongoing transformational initiatives at ARTRAC establishments aimed at evolving the Indian Army into a future-ready force. He applauded the awardees for their remarkable contributions and achievements, underscoring how their success could serve as a model for peers within the Army.
