Combined Defence Service Examinations is an exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission. There exam is conducted twice every year and the dates, are announced well before. In fact the dates regarding the notification and exam are declared in the UPSC Exam calendar itself.
CDS is an examination which enables the induction of officers in the tri-services. Its minimum eligibility is graduation. Both men and women are eligible to give CDSE, however women can apply for only Short Service Commission Non Tech entry in Army and men can apply for Army, Navy and Airforce.
The table here gives all the dates related to CDSE 2 2014. CDSE 1 2014 was conducted on 9th February 2014.
