CDS 1 2016 Exam Age criterion:

1. For Indian Military Academy (IMA): Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd Jan 1993 and not later than 1st Jan 1998 only are eligible
2. For Indian Naval Academy (INA): Unmarried Male candidates born notearlier than 2nd Jan 1993 and not later than 01st Jan 1998 only are eligible
3. For Air Force Academy (AFA) – Age: 20 to 24 years as on 01st Jan 2017 i.e. born not earlier than 02nd Jan 1993 and not later than 01 Jan 1997 (Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 yrs. i.e. born not earlier than02nd Jan 1991 and not later than 01st Jan 1997) only are eligible Note: Candidate below 25 years of age must be unmarried.
4. For Officers Training Academy (SSC Course for Men): Male candidates (married or unmarried) born not earlier than 02nd July 1991 and notlater than 01st July 1997 only are eligible
5. For Officer Training Academy (SSC Women Non-Technical Course):Unmarried Women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorces (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible
6. They should have been born not earlier than July , 1991 and not later than 1st July 1997 are eligible.

CDS 1 2016 Exam Eligibility Educational Qualification:

• IMA : The aspirants should possess graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute.
• OTA: The aspirants should possess graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute.
• For INA: The aspirants must have a degree in Engineering.
• For Air Force Academy: The aspirants should have passed 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics and having a degree from a recognized university or bachelor’s degree in engineering / technology.

CDS 1 2016 Exam Eligibility Nationality:

• An aspirant must be either Indian, or
• A subject of Nepal, or
• A subject of Bhutan, or
• A Tibetan refugee who came over to India with the intention of permanent staying in India before January 1st, 1962, or
• An aspirant of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Srilanka, Burma or East African countries of Kenya, The United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently staying in India.

CDS Exam 2 2015 Eligibility Physical Standard:

• The applicants must be physically fit as per physicals standards for seeking admission to the Combined Defense Services Examination.
