General Upendra Dwivedi Reviews Passing Out Parade at IMA; 525 Officer Cadets Commissioned

In a significant ceremony at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Chief of the Army Staff, General Upendra Dwivedi, conducted a review of the Passing Out Parade (POP) for multiple courses, including the 157th Regular Course, 46th Technical Entry Scheme (TES), 140th Technical Graduate Course (TGC), 55th Short Service Commission (SCO) Course, and the TA Officers Entry Examination (OEE) for 2023.

During the event, a total of 525 Officer Cadets made their way out of the prestigious institution, with 34 of them hailing from friendly foreign countries. Their commissioning into the Armed Forces was a moment of pride, marked by impeccable drill and coordination, showcasing the high discipline and training standards that IMA is renowned for.

In his address to the newly commissioned officers and their families, General Dwivedi extended heartfelt congratulations, recognizing the crucial role parental support and sacrifices play in their military journey. He underscored the immense honor and responsibility that comes with serving in the Armed Forces, reminding the young officers of the trust vested in them by the nation.
