The closing ceremony of Exercise AUSTRAHIND 2025 took place in Perth, Australia, celebrating the fruitful collaboration between the Indian and Australian Armies. This edition of the bilateral military exercise focused on enhancing interoperability, joint operational skills, and strengthening defence cooperation between the two nations.
Major General Matt Burr, AM, Commander of the 2nd Australian Division, alongside senior officers and dignitaries from both armed forces, attended the event. The presence of the Indian diaspora in Australia further enriched the ceremony, fostering a sense of cultural camaraderie and shared pride among attendees.
AUSTRAHIND 2025 provided a critical platform for both contingents to exchange tactical insights, improve field coordination, and refine strategies in counter-insurgency and peacekeeping operations.
