The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is showcasing its dedication to tactical excellence through its participation in the 15th All India Police Commando Competition (AIPCC), which commenced on February 10th and is set to run until February 22nd, 2025, at the CRPF Group Centre. Organized under the banner of the All India Police Sports Control Board, this year’s competition is themed “Beyond Limits, Toward Triumph!” and epitomizes the intense commitment and precision that define a commando’s role.
This prestigious event features teams from a variety of police forces across India, including the Border Security Force (BSF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Railway Protection Force (RPF), as well as state police forces like Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, and Telangana, all competing in a fierce display of skills and strategies.
The AIPCC goes beyond physical endurance; it serves as a platform to demonstrate strategic planning, teamwork, and the ability to execute complex operations effectively. Participants engage in diverse challenges that not only test their limits but also cultivate the skills necessary for real-world scenarios. Each competing team delivers compelling presentations that highlight their strategic approaches and operational tactics, further emphasizing the importance of preparation and adaptability.
This year’s competition has seen outstanding performances, with participants embodying the ethos of #NationFirst, showcasing their relentless drive to excel. Historically, the CRPF has been a dominant force in such competitions, leading the way with teams that reflect exceptional skill and preparation—an outcome of their rigorous training routines and unwavering dedication to service.

The AIPCC has a storied history, evolving from an intra-mural activity within the CRPF to a national event that attracts elite forces from across the country. Past achievements, such as the Gold Medal earned by CRPF’s Shri Gurbachan Singh Randhawa during the 1962 Asian Games, have set high standards for current competitors, inspiring them to exceed expectations and strive for new records in commando excellence.

As the competition unfolds, the focus remains on perfecting the crucial elements of strategy, precision, and teamwork. Each team is not only vying for victory but also pushing their boundaries towards significant accomplishments, setting new benchmarks in the realms of law enforcement and paramilitary operations in India.
