- SAMPRITI is a joint exercise is a very important military & diplomatic initiative between India and Bangaldesh. - Navy is preparing itself for the biggest multilateral naval exercise, MILAN 2020 to be conducted in the Indian Ocean Region. Around 42 countries are to participate in the exercise. It includes Russia and USA as well. India has not invited China to participate in the exercise. The exercise is to be conducted in Vishakhapatnam in March 2020.Theme: Synergy across the Seas.
