G20 Foreign Ministers Meeting
- External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar will begin a two-day visit to Johannesburg, South Africa from today to participate in the G20 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (FMM). He is visiting at the invitation of the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa, Ronald Lamola.
- The External Affairs Minister’s participation in the G20 FMM will strengthen India’s engagement with G20 countries and bolster the voice of the Global South in this important forum. Dr Jaishankar is expected to hold a few bilateral meetings in the margins of the Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.
1st Edition Of SOUL Leadership Conclave
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the first edition of the SOUL Leadership Conclave on 21st February at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Bhutan Prime Minister Dasho Tshering Tobgay will deliver the keynote address as the Guest of Honor.

Hurun’s India’s 10 Most Valuable Companies
- Reliance Industries, TCS, and HDFC bank are among India’s top 10 most valuable companies, according to the 2024 Burgundy Private Hurun India 500 list.
- The list, created by Axis Bank’s banking unit Burgundy Private and Hurun India says that India’s top 500 companies have a combined value of $3.8 trillion, which is higher than India’s own GDP and also the combined Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the UAE, Indonesia, and Spain.

International Association Of Aids To Marine Navigation
- India has been elected to the Vice Presidency of the International Association of Aids to Marine Navigation (IALA) at the ongoing first General Assembly of IALA in Singapore.

- Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence startup xAI has introduced Grok-3, the latest iteration of its chatbot, as it looks to compete with Chinese AI firm DeepSeek, Microsoft-backed OpenAI, and Alphabet’s Google.
- Grok-3 debut comes at a critical moment in the AI arms race, just days after DeepSeek unveiled its powerful open-source model and as Musk moves aggressively to expand xAI’s influence.
- “Grok-3 across the board is in a league of its own,” Musk said during a livestream alongside three xAI engineers late on Monday, adding that the model significantly outperforms its predecessor, Grok-2.
Ajmer Hosts First-ever All India Transgender Conference
- Ajmer has become the venue for the first-ever All India Kinnar Mahasammelan, a historic 10-day transgender conference held at a private school in Vaishali Nagar.
