UNESCO World Heritage List

Karnataka’s Sacred Ensembles Of The Hoysalas & Shantiniketan Included In The UNESCO World Heritage List.
The Hoysala Temples Located In Belur, Halebidu, And Somanathapur In Karnataka Have Become The 42^nd UNESCO World Heritage Site In India.
The Hoysala Temples Were Built During 12th To 13th Centuries, They Are Known For Their Magnificent Architecture And Show The Sculptural As Well As Artistic Achievement Of These Temple Complexes.

Established In Rural West Bengal In 1901 By The Renowned Poet And Philosopher Rabindranath Tagore, Santiniketan Was A Residential School And Centre For Art Based On Ancient Indian Traditions And A Vision Of The Unity Of Humanity Transcending Religious And Cultural Boundaries.
A ‘World University’ Was Established At Santiniketan In 1921, Recognizing The Unity Of Humanity Or “Visva Bharati”. Distinct From The Prevailing British Colonial Architectural Orientations Of The Early 20th Century And Of European Modernism, Santiniketan Represents Approaches Toward A Pan-Asian Modernity, Drawing On Ancient, Medieval And Folk Traditions From Across The Region.

The Udaan Bhawan Is Well Equipped With Modern Conference Rooms, An AV System, IT Infrastructure, A Parking Management System, A Yoga Room, A Creche Facility, And An EV Charging Station.
During The Event, The Minister Also Launched The Pilot E-Wallet Facility.
As Per The Ministry, The E-Wallet Will Be, Particularly, Useful For Processing Of Fees For Various Regulatory Approvals In The Bharat Kosh Portal. It Will Also Act As A Prepaid Wallet That Would Enable Registered Users To Add Funds In Advance. Initially, Only NEFT/RTGS Mode Will Be Allowed For Adding Funds.
