During an official visit to the United Arab Emirates, General Upendra Dwivedi, the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) of India, met with Major General Staff Yousef Maayouf Saeed Al Hallami, the Commander of the UAE Land Forces. This interaction marked a significant step in reinforcing the defense partnership between the two nations.
The discussions between the two military leaders spanned a variety of topics aimed at enhancing military engagement and collaboration. They explored avenues for expanding training opportunities and advancing bilateral defense cooperation. This meeting emphasized the shared dedication of both armed forces to improve professional military exchanges, interoperability, and mutual understanding amid evolving regional and global security challenges.

As part of his visit, General Dwivedi also toured the UAE Land Forces Museum.
