Indian Air Force Invites Online Applications From Unmarried Indian Male Candidates To Appear In Recruitment Trials Of Outstanding Sportsmen As Agniveer Vayu (Sports) Intake 01/2024 Under Agnipath Scheme. Online Registration shall commence at 1000h on 13 February 2024 and will close at 1700h on 22 February 2024. Only ONLINE submitted applications shall be accepted. Eligibility Criteria

Age: Candidate born between 27 June 2003 to 27 December 2006 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.

In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection trial, then the upper age limit as on date of enrolment should be 21 years.

Marital Status: Only unmarried male candidates will be eligible for enrolment as Agniveer Vayu (Sports) and they shall undertake not to marry during the defined engagement period of four years. Keeping in view limited period of engagement of Agniveer Vayu (Sports) inclusive of training, skill development activities, practical as well as formative assessment and organisational requirement of continued service of Agniveer vayu (Sports) during the engagement period, longer absence of Agniveer Vayu (Sports) during the engagement period will adversely affect the operational efficiency of the Indian Air Force.

Educational Qualification

Science Subjects

Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from an Education Board recognised by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

OR

Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information

Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course).

OR

Passed Two years Vocational course with non-vocational subject viz. Physics and Mathematics from an Education Board recognised by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in vocational course).

Other than Science Subjects: Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Education Boards recognised by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

OR

Passed two years vocational course from Education Boards recognised by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course).

Sports Achievements

Individual should have represented the country in Junior/Senior International competitions recognized by International Olympics committee (IOA) in any of the sports disciplines Individual should have attained the minimum standard of fifth place in the Junior National competitions, represented the State/Union Territory in Senior National competitions or All India Inter University competitions or SAI (Khelo India National) in any of the sports disciplines. In team events, the individual should have represented state in Junior/ Senior National competitions conducted by respective Sports Federations or All India Inter University Championship or SAI (Khelo India National) in any of the sports disciplines.

FOR CRICKET DISCIPLINE ONLY. – Candidates who have played All India Inter-University or BCCI Trophies – U-19, U-23, Ranji Trophy, Duleep Trophy, Deodhar Trophy or higher participation are only eligible to apply.

Mandatory Medical Standards

Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cms.

(b) Weight: Proportionate to height and age.

(c) Chest: The chest wall should be well proportioned and well developed. Minimum chest circumference should be 77 cms and the chest expansion should be atleast 05 cms.

(d) Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately.

(e) Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.

Terms And Conditions

Agniveer Vayu (Sports) will be enrolled in the IAF under Air Force Act 1950, for a period of FOUR years. Agniveer Vayu (Sports) would form a distinct rank in the Indian Air Force, different from any other existing ranks. The IAF is not obliged to retain Agniveer Vayu (Sports) beyond the engagement period of four years.

Examination fee of Rs. 100/- (plus taxes as applicable) is to be paid by the candidate while registering for the online examination. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards/ Credit Cards/Internet Banking through payment gateway.

    I am intended to join in agniveer through sport quota. I have already registered my mail Id and Contact number in agnipathvayu.cdac.in/casbspm however i cannot able to login as Captia credential is not working
