The Indian Army has released a corrigendum regarding its earlier notifications for the Judge Advocate General Entry 123 Course scheduled for April 2026, affecting both male and female candidates.

Initially, the Army had outlined a total of ten vacancies, split evenly with five seats allocated for men and five for women. However, with the revised notification, the vacancies have now been consolidated to provide a single set of 10 seats available to candidates of both genders.

The decision to combine the vacancies stems from operational and administrative considerations within the Army, as it aligns with current and anticipated requirements for personnel. This adjustment reflects the Army’s commitment to a more integrated approach in addressing its future force needs.

The corrigendum also clarifies that the application process, including SSB shortlisting, selection, and merit list creation, will be conducted based on this newly established combined vacancy system. The recruitment process aims to be efficient while ensuring transparency and fairness for all applicants.

This update is expected to enhance recruitment flexibility and streamline the selection procedure, ultimately benefiting the overall operational capacity of the Indian Army.
