In a significant achievement for the Indian Navy, INS Chilka celebrated the successful conclusion of training for Batch 02/25, marking the graduation of its seventh group of Agniveers during an impressive Passing Out Parade (POP).
The ceremony was presided over by Vice Admiral Sameer Saxena, the Chief Guest and Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Naval Command. He commended the trainees for their exemplary discipline, endurance, and steadfast determination, reflecting the high standards expected of naval personnel.
The parade symbolized the transformation of the Agniveers from novices into skilled Sea Warriors, well-prepared to face the demands of naval service. The event underscored the rigorous training, institutional discipline, and unwavering resolve cultivated at INS Chilka, recognized as one of the Indian Navy’s premier training institutions.
Among the highlights of the ceremony was the Continuity Drill, a display that demonstrated remarkable synchronization and drill precision. The collective excellence shown by the Agniveers garnered admiration from both senior officers and dignitaries in attendance, showcasing the culmination of their hard work and training.
In his address, the Reviewing Officer praised the trainees for their evolution throughout the intensive training program. He also acknowledged the tireless efforts of the instructors and staff at INS Chilka, who play a crucial role in molding disciplined and mission-ready sailors.
