A team from INS Khanjar, led by its Commanding Officer, Commander Lav Bhardwaj, attended the 85th Raising Day celebrations of the 6 Kumaon Regiment, marking a significant occasion that showcased the robust relationship between the Indian Army and the Indian Navy. In a solemn tribute to the soldiers of the 6 Kumaon Regiment who sacrificed their lives for the country, Commander Bhardwaj, representing Rear Admiral Susheel Menon, VSM, Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet (FOCEF), laid a wreath at the Hut of Remembrance. INS Khanjar has the unique distinction of being affiliated with two esteemed units of the Indian Army: the Kumaon Regiment and the Naga Regiment.
