Lieutenant General Abhijit S Pendharkar, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Spear Corps, recently conducted an important visit to the Headquarters of the Inspector General of Assam Rifles (North) located in Kohima. The primary objective of this visit was to thoroughly review the current security landscape and evaluate the operational preparedness of forces in the region.
During his time at Kohima, Lt Gen Pendharkar engaged with troops stationed at the Sector Headquarters of the Assam Rifles in Lekhapani, Assam. His interactions were focused on assessing the readiness and morale of the personnel stationed in this critical area. He took the opportunity to commend the troops for maintaining high standards of professionalism and acknowledged the considerable efforts made by various formations to boost combat readiness.
