Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Command, recently visited the Pangode Military Station, where he honored distinguished veterans with the Veteran Achievers Award in recognition of their exceptional contributions to various fields including technology, healthcare, literature, arts, sports, and social service.
During the ceremony, Lt Gen Seth paid heartfelt tributes to the veterans, emphasizing their enduring dedication to service beyond their military careers. He praised the pivotal role these individuals play in strengthening societal ties and advancing the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. His visit also included an assessment of the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) Polyclinic in Thiruvananthapuram, where he evaluated healthcare services provided to veterans. He expressed appreciation for the best practices and innovations instituted for the welfare of beneficiaries and commended the medical staff for their unwavering dedication and service quality.
